Wow, what a hailstorm!
How many years has the Manhatten Hotel been on the square with its windows intact.
Suddenly, they are gone.
What was it like to be in the storm?
What kind of damage happened?

I was in my house and I heard the noise. I tried to ignore it and then I heard what sounded like explosions on my roof. I rushed to the window and saw my car being bombed by huge hail stone. I felt totally helpless as they smashed into my windshield. I saw it shatter and wanted to run outside and drive my truck away. Duh. I stayed put but it is an experience I'll never forget.
The hail came through the windows in my house. The glass shot clear across the room and I had to dig some out of my leg.
